Privacy policy
IronCrew is a gym log app for coaches and their trainees, made by MetalBack (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect, why, who can see it, and how to delete it. We keep it short and plain on purpose.
What we collect

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers. The camera is used only on your device to scan your gym’s check-in QR code; no images are saved or uploaded.
Who can see your data
- You.
- Your coach, if you are a trainee: your name, email, workouts, check-ins, measurements, goals and assigned plans, for the gym you joined.
- Nobody else. Other trainees cannot see your data. Access is enforced by security rules on our servers, not just in the app.
Where it is stored
Data is stored with Google Firebase (Google Cloud), in the asia-south1 (Mumbai, India) region, encrypted in transit and at rest. A copy is also kept on your device so the app works offline. Google acts as our service provider and processes the data only to run the service.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, your data is removed from our database immediately, and from our automatic backups within 7 days.
Deleting your account
In the app: Profile → Delete account (trainees) or Account icon → Delete account (coaches). You can also ask us by email. See Delete your account.
Your rights
You can access and export your data (Profile → Export data), correct it, or delete it. For any request, write to support@metalback.in and we’ll reply within 30 days.
Children
IronCrew is meant for adults. Users under 18 should use it only with a parent’s or guardian’s permission.
Payments
If coaches subscribe to a paid plan, payment is handled by our payment provider (Razorpay). We do not store card or bank details.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
